This full-metal model features the dial colors of the original G-SHOCK model “DW-5000C” born in 1983. It features red, the G-SHOCK brand color symbolizing the passion for continuous challenge; blue, representing high water resistance; and yellow, signifying shock resistance. The stainless steel bezel undergoes labor-intensive forging, cutting, and polishing processes to achieve a three-dimensional form, beautifully finished with a hairline texture on the top surface and mirror polishing on the beveled edges. The stainless steel case employs a screw-back design, identical to the original model, ensuring excellent airtightness. To achieve a shock-resistant structure with full metal construction, a fine resin buffer is implemented between the bezel and case. Furthermore, the band connection uses a three-prong structure to disperse impact forces on the connecting pipe. The metal band pieces feature dimple processing, inheriting the resin band design of the first model. Manufacturing takes place at the mother factory “Yamagata Casio,” where the original G-SHOCK was born.\
