The GMW-B5000 and GM-B2100/GMC-B2100 models inherit the octagonal form of the original G-SHOCK model “DW-5000C”. GM-B2100・GMC-B2100 series, this model features a black top bezel on its iconic octagonal design. The striking black against silver emphasizes G-SHOCK's signature strength while offering a versatile monochrome design that complements a wide range of styles. The GMW-B5000BT features a mirror-finished top bezel and silver vapor deposition on part of the glass, adding a refined sparkle to its tough style. The GM-B2100BT and GMC-B2100BT feature a hairline finish on the top bezel, creating a subdued metallic feel. Furthermore, silver vapor deposition on the indices enhances visibility and accentuates the contrast with the dial. The stainless steel bezel undergoes a labor-intensive process of forging, cutting, and polishing to achieve its three-dimensional shape and beautiful finish. To achieve a full-metal shock-resistant structure, a fine resin buffer material is implemented between the bezel and case. Furthermore, the metal band pieces feature a dimpled finish, inheriting the resin band design of the original G-SHOCK. Manufacturing takes place at the “Yamagata Casio” mother factory, where the first G-SHOCK was born. Furthermore, the stainless steel cases of the GMW-B5000BT and GM-B2100BT feature screw-back cases with excellent airtightness.\
