Perfect for character models and SF mecha: ‘GOOD MARK DECALS’. Introducing the “Weathering Decals” series—easily recreate battle damage and aging effects with decals. While free-scale, these decals are designed for use on models ranging from 1/144 scale to 1/32 scale equivalents. They can be used widely on everything from character kits to aircraft and AFVs.
Peeling paint, scratches, mud splatter, oil splatter, and rust are already reproduced in a “cool, atmospheric shape”.
Just apply them to the areas you want to dirty up.
As these are “Tomorrow's Decals” where the clear layer peels off after drying, there's no reflection or raised edges typical of decals. Only the “clean dirt” is reproduced on your model.
“Scratch” decals are ideal for easily recreating paint chipping caused by impacts or sharp objects, commonly known as “scratches.”
We've created decals for various scenarios, including ones featuring only “scratches” and others combining “chipping” effects.
Depending on the color, you can also recreate situations where scratch marks rust or accumulate mud. Each mark is paired with a symmetrical counterpart on the opposite side. This reflects the likelihood that if one side becomes dirty or damaged, the opposite side would likely suffer similar wear. Three color patterns are available: Sand Brown, Dark Brown, and Metallic. Sand Brown is ideal for depicting dried mud stains or faint rust. Dark Brown works well for mud stains and rust with a reddish tint. Each mark is beautifully printed using silk-screen technology. Especially with the metallic colors, you won't see the uneven particle texture often seen when painting with a brush. Enjoy the sparkling reflections on your model's surface.
While each can be used alone for weathering effects, combining them with other weathering decals, line decals, caution decals, or number decals expands your creative possibilities.
These decals are “Ashita Decals”— “Ashita Decals”. They achieve a finish similar to photo-etched parts, yet allow for multicolor printing and positioning like standard water-slide decals. They eliminate the unnatural reflections from transparent decal areas, delivering a finish that closely resembles real, painted markings.
