This is a 100% handmade product using only premium vegetable-tanned (lambskin, sheep leather) leather. Vegetable-tanned leather is an expensive leather processed using plant-based tannins (natural dyes) on premium Italian sheep leather. Already well-known in Europe as a premium leather, its unique natural color, soft texture, and the sense of sophistication that develops with use are said to be closest to genuine natural leather. While it may be slightly more prone to scratches than thickly coated standard leather, these scratches also transform into natural patina over time, enhancing its vintage appeal.
