Seasoning
1. Wash
Scrub thoroughly with dish soap to remove the rust-preventative oil coating.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent.
2 Dry thoroughly
Pat dry with a towel, then let air dry completely.
Apply oil
Once dry, coat both sides thoroughly with pure oil like olive oil.
※ Do not use salted items like butter or margarine for seasoning.
Use unsalted vegetable oil.
4 Wipe off excess oil
Excess oil causes burning. Spread the oil thinly using paper towels.
Cook until smoke appears (repeat steps 3-5 about 4-5 times).
Place over heat. Use medium heat until smoke appears. Then reduce to low heat and continue cooking until smoke subsides. 6. Sauté vegetable scraps Once smoke subsides, sauté strongly aromatic vegetable scraps like green onions, ginger, and garlic. Carefully coat the entire pan surface. 7. Apply oil After discarding the vegetable scraps, lightly coat both sides of the pan with oil. Let cool naturally to complete.
