1. Measure rice using the inner lid (one full lid = approx. 2 cups).
2. After thoroughly rinsing the rice, place it in the pot. Add water up to the water level line on the pot's side as a guide, then soak for at least 1 hour.

*Water levels are general guidelines. When cooking at high altitudes or immediately after washing the rice, add slightly more water than the marked lines. 3. Do not use the inner lid during cooking.
