Product Description
Fly “1/72 NASA AD-1 Experimental Aircraft” Plastic Model Kit.
The NASA AD-1 is an experimental aircraft that first flew in 1979. Its unique swept-back main wings could change angle from 0 to 60 degrees during flight. NASA conducted 79 demonstration flights using this aircraft. By its final flight in 1982, the AD-1 provided extensive data on the flight characteristics of rotating main wings and the aerodynamic properties related to their rotation angle.
Completely new mold.
Includes one type of decal.
Finished size: Length approx. 164mm, Wingspan approx. 69mm (60° sweep angle) ~ 137mm (0° sweep angle)
