The name “Ten'i Musou” originates from the idea that the robes of celestial maidens have no seams, meaning “poetry or craftsmanship that is free from artifice or affectation, created naturally and beautifully.” True to its name, the brand aimed to create products that were “comfortable and beautiful, harnessing nature's essence.”

While stretch synthetic fibers are typically used for underwear, Ten'i Mugen's rib innerwear uses 100% cotton thread, which has no inherent stretch. To achieve such excellent stretch in cotton-sewn underwear requires a special sewing technique: carefully stretching the fabric while sewing.
