In ‘Yokohama Gentleman Merchants Roll & Write’, each player becomes a Yokohama merchant, striving to succeed in business and gain fame.
A Roll & Write game is one where each player is given a sheet and plays by filling it in according to dice rolls and changing situations.
The game's setting, “Yokohama,” is divided into districts: employee-active city blocks, the Port District where orders from abroad exist, and more.
Place employees in various areas within the city blocks. Use these employees to perform area actions and obtain trade goods. Order forms are placed in the Port District. Fulfill customer requests by gathering the required trade goods as specified on the order forms. Additionally, various useful technologies introduced from abroad through the port opening exist. Efficiently utilizing these technologies is a key path to victory. Which player will become Yokohama's foremost merchant by skillfully leveraging area actions and technologies?
We've adapted one of OKAZU brand's signature titles, Yokohama Gentleman Merchants, into a multiplayer roll-and-write game.
We've lightened the playtime and feel while still delivering the same expansion and reproduction mechanics found in the board game.
