All 25 major daimyo houses and approximately 40 famous warlords who rampaged across Japan during the Warring States period make their grand appearance.\\ nAt the start of the game, each player drafts one daimyo house from the six home provinces (Oda, Takeda, Uesugi, Hojo, Mouri, Shimazu) and three allied provinces (Kinki, Eastern Provinces, Western Provinces), dividing the players into six factions. \
From powerful daimyo like Oda and Takeda to minor daimyo like Satake, Imagawa, Saito, Ouchi, Amago, Otomo, and Ryuzoji, the game playably recreates the battles of Sengoku daimyo across all of Japan. \
Who will claim supremacy over the realm.?\
The game begins by drawing one chit at a time from a cup for each of the six factions and the “Honganji” faction. The drawn faction is played. \
A distinctive rule: If the Honganji chit or a “non-player” faction chit (not controlled by any player) is drawn,\
the player whose faction chit was drawn immediately before takes control of the “non-player” faction.\
This allows the actions of all factions, including the “non-player” factions, to unfold naturally and fluidly. \
