CmonJapan - Board Game - Robin Hood - Sheriff of Nottingham Product Introduction
Robin Hood Sheriff of Nottingham is a remake of the board game Sheriff of Nottingham, set in the world and characters of the classic Disney animated film Robin Hood. Suitable for ages 10 and up, it can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, with family and friends. (This game is not an expansion set for Sheriff of Nottingham and can be played on its own.)
Use lies and negotiation to smuggle goods into the village.
One player takes turns playing the role of sheriff. The other players play as Robin Hood and his merry band of friends. Each player places several item cards into a bag. Next, they declare the bag's contents to the sheriff, and feel free to lie.
The sheriff then chooses which bag to open and inspect. You can choose multiple bags to inspect. If you find a player lying, or if their bag contents do not match their declaration, you can fine that player. However, if you open the bag of a player who is telling the truth, the Sheriff must pay a monetary apology.
Players who do not want their bags inspected can negotiate with the Sheriff. You can negotiate freely, such as paying a bribe or promising to behave in the game (whether or not you keep that promise is up to you). Of course, the Sheriff can also threaten players with a "bag inspection" and demand a bribe.
Help Villagers in Need
This is a new rule added in "Robin Hood: Sheriff of Nottingham." If you manage to smuggle goods into the village without the Sheriff's knowledge, you can earn "Villager Tokens" as a token of the villagers' gratitude by handing over three needed items to each villager. At the end of the game, the player with the most Villager Tokens receives bonus points.
