Katsuraya Fine Goods - Polyester Dye - 100% Polyester - Col-11 - Sky Blue
This dye allows you to enjoy dyeing 100% polyester fibers simply by heating to approximately 90°C. Unlike the conventional Hot Dye P-100, heating and soaping (heated washing) is unnecessary, making the dyeing process much simpler. Available in 14 colors total, allowing for free mixing. Furthermore, it can dye not only clothing like blouses and skirts, but also buttons and wigs, provided they are 100% polyester.
(1) Place the dye in a separate heat-resistant container and dissolve thoroughly in 0.5 to 1 liter of boiling water.
(2) Prepare approximately 9 to 9.5 liters of boiling water in a dyeing container large enough for the items to move freely. Add one packet of color intensifier and the dissolved dye from step (1).
(3) Place the items to be dyed, having washed off any dirt, stains, or sizing, into the dyeing container while still wet. Heat to approximately 90°C (180°F) over heat, stirring constantly for about 30 minutes.
(4) After cooling in water at a lower temperature than the dyeing temperature, rinse lightly in warm water. Add a neutral detergent and wash lightly again. Rinse with water and dry in the shade. Polyester dye is an ECO dye that is gentle on the skin and the environment, containing no designated hazardous chemicals. ECO dyes have been sold since 2005, with carefully selected ingredients to ensure safe and secure use at home. Production is consistently carried out exclusively at our own factory in Japan, and we are confident in the safety of our dyes. Furthermore, considering the environment, the outer box uses recycled paper. ・Important Notes As this is a heat-activated dyeing process, please use a heat-resistant container. The dye instructions are based on white fabric. Colors may vary when dyeing colored fabrics. Store away from high temperatures and humidity. If solidification occurs due to moisture absorption, thoroughly stir and disperse the product before use; efficacy remains unaffected.
