A. Hanging the product in a well-ventilated area and exposing it to natural air is effective. The insect repellent ingredient is insoluble in water, so washing it will not immediately remove the odor.
Q. I noticed a sparkling powder on the insect repellent bag or on my clothing. What is it? How can I restore it?
A. This is called recrystallization. Once the volatilized insect repellent (gaseous) ingredient changes temperature, it reverts to its original crystal form (powdered insect repellent) and adheres to clothing, storage boxes, the inside of the product's outer bag, and the surface of individual bags. If the temperature difference is large and the recrystallization occurs slowly, it may form large clumps like rock candy and stick to the surface. The amount of insect repellent ingredient that volatilizes is determined by the temperature; the higher the temperature, the greater the amount. Drying in a well-ventilated area in the shade will naturally return the product to its original state. It will not leave stains or discolor your clothes.

A. When switching to a different formulation (pyrethroids are fine), first remove all remaining insect repellent.
