Real Car Features The R35 GT-R Spec-V was developed as a high-spec model featuring numerous tuning enhancements aimed at improving lap times on circuits and similar venues, debuting in February 2009. A key feature is its High-Geared Boost System. Pressing a switch on the steering wheel activates a state where maximum torque of 608Nm (62.0kgm) is sustained for 80 seconds. Furthermore, it adopts dedicated Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, eliminates the rear seats for a two-seater configuration, and reduces unsprung weight, achieving a 60kg weight reduction compared to the base grade. With a base price of ¥15.75 million, it was a super sports car that set a new record as the most expensive domestically produced mass-production vehicle at the time.
