The distinctive Tone-class heavy cruisers featured all four main guns (eight barrels) concentrated at the bow.
This kit captures the second ship of the class, the Chikuma, in her early-war configuration before anti-aircraft armament was reinforced, as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit.
