Volkswagen Beetle 1303S\

The VW Beetle debuted in 1938 and was manufactured until 2003 with numerous minor changes, beloved worldwide. In 1971, the 1302 series was added. While retaining the basic design with the air-cooled flat engine mounted at the rear, it changed the front suspension from the conventional torsion bar to a MacPherson strut system. Its characteristic feature was the bulging bonnet shape. In 1973, it underwent a minor change to the 1303 series, featuring a significantly curved windshield. The tail lamps were also enlarged. The 1303 featured a 1300cc engine, while the 1303S had a 1600cc engine. Production of the 1303 series ended in 1975. Although the torsion bar type continued production thereafter, the convertible, based on the 1303S, was manufactured until 1979.\
