Kondo Science-40452-MD-1-Neutral Brake Specification
This ESC is designed specifically for small motors. It supports brushed motors up to size 370. Its compact, lightweight, and flat design makes it easy to mount on robots; it can be easily secured using commercially available double-sided tape.
The MD-1 lineup includes two variants: the ‘RC Car ESC Specification’ with brake & reverse functions, similar to standard RC ESCs, and the ‘Neutral Brake Specification’ ideal for robotics, DIY projects, and modifications.
The Neutral Brake Specification is recommended for robots, caterpillar construction kits, and similar applications.
Standard ESCs engage the brake when reversing after forward operation. In contrast, the Neutral Brake specification allows direct reverse operation after forward movement. Braking is activated by returning the control to the neutral position.
