Green Max - Keikyu 1500 Series - 4-Car Intermediate Car Set for Extension - Unpainted Economy Kit - 444B
The 1500 series appeared in 1985 (Showa 60) as a replacement for the 1000 series (now scrapped) that had been active on subway lines. The initial cars had steel bodies, but later minor changes saw them replaced with aluminum alloy bodies. The control system was field-chopper control, but from the cars added in 1990, the control system changed to VVVF inverter control. There are 4-car fixed formations, 6-car fixed formations, and 8-car fixed formations in service. The 4- and 6-car fixed formations are limited to the Keikyu Line, while the 8-car fixed formations are actively used on the Toei Asakusa Line, Keisei Line, and Hokuso Line.
After 20 years of service, renewal work was carried out, and all cars have now been completed.
You can recreate the pre-renewal era based on prototype 1521~.
This product is an unpainted kit with an integrated body mold.
The front and side windows are pre-printed (except for car numbers).
The glass parts are snap-fit.
Underframe equipment offers a choice between two types: field chopper control and VVVF inverter control.
Bogie, power unit, pantograph, etc., are not included; please use separately sold items.
A coreless motor power bogie frame and corresponding underframe equipment are included.
