KATO N Gauge E235 Series Basic Set 10-1468S
This set features JR East's E235 Series Yamanote Line train set Tou 03 (assigned to Tokyo General Rolling Stock Center), which entered service in May 2017. It accurately reproduces the distinctive front end, AU737 air conditioner, pantograph, as well as roof-mounted equipment and underfloor devices. Accurately reproduces the delicate gradation of the Yamanote Line's line color, greenish-yellow, applied to the front and door areas.
Features a see-through cab for a more realistic interior view of the front section.
Includes the Sah E235-4600 series, featuring the distinctive window arrangement transferred from the E231 series 500 subseries. For this conversion, additional antenna bases were installed, and the air conditioners were standardized to match other E235 series units. A slotless motor is employed, achieving smooth and quiet running performance. Head/tail lights, front displays, and route number displays illuminate (using white LEDs). Headlights appear white even when off.
Front and side displays pre-printed with “0913G” and “Yamanote Line”. Includes interchangeable front display “Shinagawa/Tokyo Direction” “Ikebukuro/Ueno Direction”. All cars feature printed wheelchair symbols, stroller symbols, and emergency door cock markings. Features body-mounted close-coupling couplers (hookless). DCC-friendly. *Model trains are powered via the track system. No batteries are used for running, lighting, or illumination.
