Tamiya Detail-Up Parts Series - External Wiring Set - Plastic Model Parts - 12630
Magnetic mines, which appeared simultaneously with the outbreak of World War II, were a type of contact mine that detonated in response to the magnetic field generated by a ship's hull, posing a significant threat to vessels navigating the seas.
As a countermeasure to neutralize magnetic field distortions caused by the hull, the Imperial Japanese Navy urgently equipped all ships with a coil called an “Outboard Circuit” (demagnetizing line) in 1941.
This product is an etching parts set that allows you to recreate the external de-magnetizing cable.
Suitable for a wide range of Imperial Japanese Navy vessels, including the Mogami. Approximately 2 meters of cable length is provided, sufficient for large ships like the battleship Yamato.
