Product Description
Faithfully modeled the Type I Model D, a sleek variant of the liquid-cooled engine-equipped Hien fighter featuring a 200mm extended nose to accommodate a 20mm cannon within the fuselage.
The cockpit features the actual aircraft's layout, including the 20mm cannon, its ammunition magazines, and the oil tank forward of the pilot's seat.
The cockpit is designed to be installed after gluing the left and right fuselage halves together.
The Ha-40 engine is precisely detailed, including auxiliary equipment like the supercharger.
Even after installation in the fuselage, the upper nose cowling can be removed for inspection.
The radiator under the fuselage is faithfully modeled, including its internal structure.
The fairing plates on the air intakes achieve accurate shape through clever part segmentation. The windshield can be assembled in the closed position, and by separating part of the fuselage, it can also be assembled in the open position. Venturi tubes and fuel cooler parts are included in the set; their installation can be selected.
