This turtle-shaped robot moves by crawling on four legs.
The motor's rotation is slowed by a gearbox, and motion is transmitted via a crank and link plate.
The front and rear legs on the single plate have some play in their mounting, with ball joints used especially for the front legs. This recreates the unique walking style of a turtle carrying its shell. The shell, legs, and gearbox are clear parts, allowing you to observe the movement mechanism in detail even after assembly.
