This is a plastic model assembly kit of the US Navy's masterpiece fighter, the Corsair, which saw action in World War II. You can choose to build either the first mass-produced F4U-1 with its distinctive birdcage canopy, or the F4U-2 night fighter with radar on the right wing. The distinctive swept-back wings can be assembled either extended or folded. The engine and cockpit interior are reproduced in great detail. Includes one pilot figure.
Includes parts for a 1000-pound bomb and auxiliary fuel tanks. Features slide-applied markings for four variants used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
