A new addition has joined Yako's water and oil resistant coating agent “Yu~”.
Introducing the long-awaited matte coating agent, “Yu~ Matte”.
With both “glossy” and “matte” options now available, the world of oven-fired clay expands significantly.
Apply to fired oven-fired clay and heat-set to achieve water and oil resistance.
After heat-setting, it provides a non-glossy, matte finish. *Comparison with Coating Agent “Yu~” About Coating Agent “Yu~” Use when moisture-proofing or waterproofing is needed, such as for tableware that holds liquids. Apply after firing the piece, then heat at 100°C~120°C for about 20 minutes to set. Both “Yu~” and “Yu~ Matt” meet Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare safety standards, making them safe for use on tableware.
