The F/A-18F Super Hornet is the US Navy's latest jet fighter/attack aircraft.
Based on the F/A-18C, this model features significant upgrades. Visually, the enlarged fuselage and angular intake shape immediately catch the eye. However, the entire airframe features a new design distinct from the C model, enhancing flight performance and weapon-carrying capacity while incorporating future development potential.
The F model is a two-seat variant deployed as the successor to the F-14 Tomcat.
The kit accurately reproduces the Super Hornet's form. It vividly captures the sharp lines of this state-of-the-art aircraft. Equipment includes auxiliary fuel tanks, AIM-9X Sidewinders, and AIM-120 CAMRAAM.
