1/32 scale plastic model.
The Shoki's distinctive form, featuring a thick nose and wings designed with an exceptionally small wing area for high speed, was achieved by mounting the most powerful engine available at the time.
The Type II featured an even more powerful Ha-109 engine. Variants A, B, and C differed in armament and equipment.
A total of 1,227 aircraft of all variants were produced between 1940 and 1944, serving in air defense duties to intercept enemy bombers.
This kit features completely new tooling, precisely recreating the form of the Shoki Type II C.
Parts configuration prioritizes ease of assembly.
Large spar components secure the fuselage and main wings, employing a design ensuring precise positioning.
The butterfly flaps, a defining feature of this aircraft, can be assembled in either the normal or down position.
Includes auxiliary fuel tanks, small pylons, and a seated pilot figure (prototype by Ichiro Takeuchi).
The pilot figure's head allows selection between wearing or not wearing an oxygen mask.
