Product Description
The VF-0 is a prototype variant of the VF-1 variable fighter, developed urgently by the United Nations Space Command. It incorporates advanced alien technology obtained from the crashed alien warship ASS-1, nicknamed “The Fallen One,” which crashed in 1999.
The VF-0 is designed for all combat scenarios, transforming between three modes: the fighter mode for aerial combat, the Gerwalk mode with superior hovering performance, and the Battroid mode suited for close-quarters ground combat. Originally, the VF-0 prototype test aircraft was not equipped for actual combat. However, when the Anti-Unification Alliance deployed variable fighters in combat, it was urgently modified: its conventional jet engines were over-tuned, and it was armed. The airframe itself is slightly larger than the VF-1 to accommodate the engine. The flight feel differs significantly between the fighter and battroid modes, demanding pilots possess not only advanced skills but also quick judgment and adaptability. The commander-type S model features two Mauller laser cannons in the head and incorporates a formation command system.
It is piloted by Roy Focker, who possesses outstanding piloting skills and knows every detail of the still-developing VF-0 inside and out.
This kit features Roy Focker's VF-0S, prominently featured in the new OVA “Macross Zero,” built from completely new molds.
This aircraft was developed before the legendary VF-1 Valkyrie.
Its dimensions are larger than the VF-1's design specifications, resulting in a kit with considerable volume.
Packed with Hasegawa's signature aircraft details. Main wings deploy with linked left/right movement. Landing gear fast packs, air brake deployment, and cockpit opening are optional. Includes pilot figure. Compatible with the Macross stand.
