Product Introduction
The second release in our new 1/12 scale snap-fit motorcycle model series: “Honda Hunter Cub”. This product is based on the CT125 Hunter Cub (Glow-in-the-Dark Red) launched in 2020. It features the Japanese domestic specification with a passenger footrest and muffler cover installed. The product is a kit requiring assembly. Its 1/12 scale size allows for precise reproduction of intricate details. Each part is colored in its molded plastic hue, while the body achieves a glossy texture unattainable through painting. The snap-fit design allows for easy assembly. The 2010s saw the debut of the first-generation Cross Cub, followed by the current Super Cub in 2017. Then, in 2020, the “CT125 Hunter Cub” arrived, evoking the look of the classic CT110. Compared to the C125, it features a slightly larger frame and is finished as a leisure bike offering powerful performance at low to medium speeds. It retains distinctive styling elements like the CT110's muffler and square turn signals. The actual bike is available in two colors: Glow-in-the-Dark Red and Matte Fresco Brown (as of Spring 2021). The body uses specialized molded materials to reproduce a gloss level difficult to achieve with paint. The molded parts come in six colors: Red, Black, Silver, Aluminum, Clear, and Clear Red. The engine block is assembled using black and silver molded parts. The “HONDA” engravings on both sides are reproduced with intricate molded detailing. The distinctive air intake on the left rear is rendered in two colors: matte black and the body color. The side stand and center stand are movable. Switches around the handlebar are accurately modeled in 3D, with markings reproduced using included decals. The meter features a transparent part over the cover for a realistic style. The wing emblem at the center of the handlebar is represented by a decal, and even small parts like the master cylinder on the right side are reproduced. The seat uses a 3-piece structure matching the fabric stitching and is molded in matte black. The seat is movable (can be opened/closed). The inner fuel filler area is also sculpted, with the tank cap as a separate part featuring a color difference. The passenger footpegs can be displayed in either stowed or extended positions, and can be changed by swapping parts.
