SANKO-Rearing Matt 10L
Product Description
This matt is made from natural broadleaf wood with added fermentation bacteria, fermented and matured over a long period. It is designed to enhance the hatching rate for rearing foreign rhinoceros beetles (Atlas, Caucasus, Hercules) and domestic rhinoceros beetles from egg to larva, larva to pupa, and pupa to adult.
Usage Precautions
※Insect rearing mats are fermented to a level suitable for the specific insects being raised. If stored in high-temperature, high-humidity areas or exposed to direct sunlight, fermentation may continue, causing the mat's temperature to rise or emitting a distinctive odor known as fermentation smell. To reduce temperature rise and fermentation odor, and to prepare the mat for optimal insect rearing conditions, we recommend kneading it before use and airing it outdoors for half a day to one day. Use the mat only after it has cooled down following sun drying. As natural materials are used, insects may occasionally appear.
