Knit Wit is a fresh word game for 2-8 players that uses “string loops,” “spools,” and “word tags” to “knit wit.”
Each game consists of three steps: “Knit,” “Answer,” and “Score.”
During the “Knit” step, players place loops of string around numbered spools. They attach word tags displaying “words” to the enclosed loops, creating a word category for each spool.
In the “Answer” step, players write their answers on their answer sheets for each spool placed on the table.
Answers must be words or phrases that match all the characteristics of the word tags attached to the loops surrounding that spool.
In the “Score” step, all players announce their answers for each spool, and points are calculated. Answers identical to other players earn no points. Answers deemed to not match the features are reviewed by all players.
Accepted answers earn points equal to the number of loops surrounding that spool. The player with the highest total score, including bonus button points, wins the game.
