Set sail on four epic expeditions in search of glory.
Voyage to uncharted lands, strengthen your longships, build mountains of gold,
and triumph over fearsome monsters in battle to seize your glory. In “Raid,” players must build the mightiest longships, gather the bravest Viking crews, and set sail to explore the world. Strategically time your moves, battle fearsome monsters and opposing players, and conquer the seas. On each expedition, players prepare their crew and steer their longships to the best locations to discover the greatest treasures and earn the highest honors.
There is no turn order in the game. The ship at the back chooses the expedition destination, but nearby areas have already been plundered by longships that sailed earlier.
Your skill lies in how far ahead you can go and plunder before other Vikings.
If you simply take your next turn, the treasure there is yours.
But other Vikings might set their sights on the same spot. Never hesitate—catch up, command your Viking crew to attack the rival ship, and drive them away. Only one of you can take the discovered treasure. After completing the fourth expedition this way, the player with the most glory points becomes the victor, immortalized in heroic tales.
This adventure game features tile placement to upgrade your longships, unique Viking meeples, and metal coins.
