In Court in Session. Mental Trial, players become either the prosecutor or one of the secretly chosen defendant personas (inner personalities) such as “Fairness,” “Deception,” or “Selfishness.” Through bidding on the psychological board, they control behavioral domains like “Observation,” “Speech,” and “Motor Skills” to influence the jury and steer the trial outcome toward their desired result. “Observation,” “Speech,” “Motor Skills,” and other action fields through psychological board auctions. By influencing the jury, players attempt to steer the trial outcome in their desired direction. The trial progresses as the prosecutor selects cards. Players vie for control of each action field on the psychological board by sequentially sending influence tokens (similar to a game center pusher game) to secure dominance over that action. Once you gain control of an action, you make a choice within that action. The result—whether “impulsive” or “critical”—moves the hearts of jurors with diverse values, steering the trial in your favor or against you. After 8 rounds of deliberation, will your ‘you’ prevail over the other “you”s and steer the trial in your desired direction—or will the prosecutor secure the guilty verdict they seek?
