As the seasons turn, new people join the village's construction. ‘Villagers: The Changing Seasons’ is an expansion set that adds four modules to expand the content of ‘Villagers’ and introduces a new solo game mode. Events introduce a new concept: during setup, four Event cards are placed beneath the Road deck. When this stack is exhausted, Events trigger, granting all players bonus actions or scoring opportunities. The new “Clayworker” profession and seven powerful Special Villagers add variety to gameplay. Teams bring additional building and food symbols to players' villages, but at a cost. Modules can be freely combined and introduced. This expansion extends the game length by an average of one round, giving players more time to build their villages. Furthermore, the Monastery solo mode allows for a more relaxed single-player experience of The Villagers. ※This is an expansion set; the base game “Villagers” is required to play.
