Toreos is a fantasy board game where players embark on adventures to obtain a potion that brings good fortune.
Players must save 20 gold coins to purchase the magical potion.
To do this, each round players draw 5 cards as their hand. They play 1 card to determine turn order via auction,
use 3 cards to plan their movement, secretly decide when to trigger bandits that hinder travel, and discard the remaining 1 card or return it to the top of the deck. Once all players have finished planning, turns proceed in order, resolving one movement card at a time. Each movement card specifies movement points and a direction or method of travel, requiring efficient use. Additionally, movement results in acquiring quests at visited locations or completing already acquired quests to earn gold coins. Cards may be added during gameplay, incorporating deck-building elements. Furthermore, each character possesses unique abilities, ensuring varied strategies and decisions for every player.
