Product Description
The Kō-class torpedo boats were redesigned following the lessons learned from the Tomotsuru Incident (the capsizing of the Chidori-class torpedo boat Tomotsuru), succeeding the preceding Chidori-class. The lead vessel, Kō, was completed in October 1936 (Shōwa 11).\ With a standard displacement of 840 tons, its armament included three 12cm single-mount guns, one Type 94 53cm triple torpedo launcher, and anti-submarine depth charge projectors.
