SAMYANG's new “V-AF” lens series was created for all video creators, from individual filmmakers to small-scale productions and filmmakers. It incorporates various features designed to meet creators' demands for “producing higher-quality video more easily.”\
■Uniform Size and Weight\
All V-AF series lenses share a compact size of Φ72.2×72.1mm and a lightweight 280g. This reduces the payload burden on drones and gimbals. With identical centers of gravity, rebalancing during lens changes is unnecessary, significantly shortening shooting time. \
■8K Compatibility & Unified Color Profile\
The V-AF series is designed for high-resolution cameras up to 8K. Additionally, it features a unified color balance compliant with SAMYANG's CCI standard. This ensures consistent color when using multiple V-AF series lenses, reducing post-production time.\
■Quiet and Fast AF\
The AF system, featuring a Linear STM motor, is fast, accurate, and exceptionally quiet, making it ideal for video.\
■Instant Recording Status Indication via Tally Lamp\
Tally lamps on the front and side of the lens use LEDs to indicate recording status. When recording starts, the lamp color changes from green to red, allowing you to instantly determine whether recording is active, even in self-recording situations.\
■Smooth Focus Control\
Features “Linear MF Mode,” which adjusts focus position proportionally to the focus ring rotation angle (300°). The gear-equipped focus ring allows direct attachment of the optional “Cine Kit,” enabling precise and accurate focus adjustments via follow focus. <\
■Focus Hold Button and Custom Switch\
The Focus Hold button is assigned to Focus Hold function (during AF) and Focus Save function (during MF). Additionally, frequently used functions like “Eye AF” can be assigned from the camera body.\
During AF, pressing and holding the Focus Hold button locks the focus position while the subject is in focus.\
During MF, pressing and holding the Focus Hold button allows you to memorize any desired focus position.\
Switching the Custom Switch enables aperture setting via the focus ring during AF. \
