The “SAMYANG V-AF 100mm T2.3” is a full-frame compatible telephoto prime AF lens for Sony E-mount. It features a lightweight, compact body packed with numerous functions optimized for video applications.\

SAMYANG's new “V-AF” lens series was created for all video creators, from individual filmmakers to small-scale productions and filmmakers. It incorporates various features designed to meet creators' demands for “producing higher-quality video more easily.”\
■Unified Form Factor Across the Series\
All V-AF series lenses, from wide-angle to telephoto, adopt a uniform compact size with a Φ72.2mm filter thread and a weight of 280g. While the V-AF 100mm T2.3 is 13.3mm longer than other V-AF lenses, the focus ring position and lens center of gravity are consistent with the other lenses. This simplifies settings and balance adjustments during lens changes, significantly reducing shooting time on gimbals and drones.\
■8K Compatibility & Unified Color Balance\
The V-AF series is designed for high-resolution cameras up to 8K. Additionally, it features a unified color balance compliant with SAMYANG's CCI standard, reducing post-production time when using multiple V-AF series lenses.\
■Quiet and Fast AF\
The AF, equipped with a Linear STM motor, is fast, accurate, and exceptionally quiet, making it ideal for video shooting.\
■Tally Lamp for Instant Recording Status Indication\
Equipped with a tally lamp on the front and side of the lens, displaying recording status via LED. When recording starts, the lamp color changes from green to red, allowing you to instantly determine if recording is active, even in self-recording scenarios.\
■Smooth Focus Control\
Features “Linear MF Mode,” which adjusts focus position proportionally to the focus ring rotation angle (300°). Additionally, the gear-equipped focus ring allows direct attachment of the optional “Cine Kit” accessory. This enables precise and accurate focus adjustments using follow focus.\
■Focus Hold Button and Custom Switch\
The Focus Hold button can be assigned either the Focus Hold function (during AF) or the Focus Save function (during MF). Additionally, frequently used functions like “Eye AF” can be assigned from the camera body.\
