The Lensbaby Sweet 22 is an ultra-wide-angle pancake lens featuring a large, flowing bokeh effect in the periphery, outside of the central sweet spot. Its smallest sweet spot (the area in focus) among Lensbaby lenses creates a large, blurred image in the periphery. The clear separation between in-focus and out-of-focus areas creates a truly "sea of impressionistic blur." This lens is also recommended for portraits, where placing the subject at the center of the composition enhances the image. This distinctive imagery also allows for capturing striking scenes in video. The fixed metal barrel allows for a body thickness of just 38mm. The minimum focusing distance is 12.7cm from the tip of the lens, making it ideal for snapshots. The fixed aperture is f/3.5, so use an ND filter to adjust shutter speed and brightness.
