Jōzenji-dōri is a representative street of Sendai, the City of Trees, featuring a striking 700-meter-long zelkova archway.\
This location was chosen by Date Masamune when he built Sendai Castle, placing Jōzenji Temple here to ward off evil spirits from the northeast. \
The street in front of the temple became known as Jozenji-dori and was beloved by many worshippers, but the temple was abolished in 1873 following the Meiji Restoration.\
This event is held annually from early to late December. A pageant refers to a large-scale costume parade or show held on a holiday.\
This is a release in the “Difficult Jigsaw” series, challenging even at 300 pieces. \
