Description
Arclight: Goat Dance - Ages 8+ - Board Game
A remake of the acclaimed card game “6 nimmt.”, adapted into a board game by Kramer himself and a 2005 German Game of the Year Award nominee.
Help the goats climb the cliff by placing them strategically.
Fail to assist them properly, and they might be attacked by an eagle, resulting in penalties.
Players hold six wooden tiles numbered 1-100. Simultaneously, each player chooses one tile to reveal.
Revealed tiles are placed in ascending order, with each tile placed on the space immediately to the right of the tile with the closest number. Placing a tile in a row where all spaces are filled causes it to overhang the cliff, resulting in penalty points. That row is then closed, and the next row opens, continuing the game. Some spaces have special effects. Additionally, there are restrictions like gaining tiles while taking penalties or having to play tiles in order of lowest penalty points based on your total penalty score, making the strategic gameplay even more intense.
The game ends when any player's penalty points exceed 60, or when a player attempts to draw a tile and the tile deck is empty.
The player with the fewest penalty points wins.
