Product Description
The “Little Armory” 1/12 scale assembly kit combines realism with compatibility for use with action figures.
The lineup now includes the “81mm Mortar,” the first stationary artillery piece in the series, used by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
Arrange multiple figures to recreate scenes of a fire support team in action.
The “mortar” provides close fire support to infantry units as a light artillery piece. It is a weapon capable of attacking distant targets via indirect fire trajectories.
The L16 is exceptionally lightweight (36.6kg) compared to other mortars in its class. Adopted by the British Army (its developer) and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, among others. Range: 100~5600m.
The kit includes the mortar body with an axially movable bipod and sighting device, a collimator for setting the reference line during indirect fire, an 81mm mortar round, and a dedicated ammunition case.
The mortar firing sequence can be recreated using the movable figure.
