Yamashita Hobby - YH700P-2-700-15-5cm Yamato-class Battleship Secondary Gun Set
This is a commercialized version of the 15.5cm triple turret mounted on Yamato-class battleships. It is well known that these guns were originally mounted on Mogami-class light cruisers and then modified for use on Yamato-class battleships.
It is said that these guns sank the American destroyer Samuel B. Roberts during the Battle of Samar. A slide mold method was used to sculpt the rivets, ladders, and heat dissipation slits on the sides of the turrets.
