Scout circus performers, put on shows, and aim to become the top circus troupe in the United States.
The circus has come to town.
On a stage brimming with excitement and joy, acrobats, magicians, and wild beasts captivate all who visit, sparking the imagination.
You become the ringmaster of a 19th-century American circus troupe, touring while scouting performers. Aim to become the greatest circus troupe in the United States.
On your turn, choose whether to hire circus performers or put on a show.
At the start of the game, each player's circus is empty, so you must hire performers to build your troupe.
Performers dazzle the audience with spectacular acts in each of the three rings (stages). The order of acts brings various benefits, making the program design a key skill to showcase. Performing in small towns is straightforward and helps gather supplies needed for circus expansion. Performing in cities has stricter conditions but offers the chance to scout top-tier performers. Major cities demand specific acts, but successful performances here yield the most fame.
While your small circus struggles to survive, the much larger Barnum Circus tours the United States.
When they reach a major city in a region, fame points for that area are calculated. Circuses that have performed numerous shows in the targeted region gain additional fame.
