AOSHIMA's Waterline series has been renewed with greater precision.
The 1/700 Waterline series renewal continues with the release of the light cruiser Kashima.. Machine guns, ship's boats, and other fittings have been newly researched and designed. Numerous slide mechanisms in the molds accurately reproduce the intricate details of the 1/700 scale. We present the Waterline Series, reborn with enhanced precision. Built as one of three Katori-class training cruisers for officer cadet training. During the war, she served in anti-submarine duties and fought until the end of the war. This kit is a 1/700 scale plastic model of the late-war “Kashima,” featuring additional anti-aircraft guns on both sides and numerous single-mount machine guns. Its focused parts configuration ensures simple, easy assembly while achieving accurate reproduction. Newly designed fittings like anti-aircraft guns and searchlights have been added. It effectively captures the precision and intricate detail of 1/700 scale.
