PILOT-A Film-AF59-Clear Pink-17350
OK Model Aircraft Covering Heat-Shrink Film. The film shrinks when heat is applied. The adhesive applied to its back activates its bonding strength when heated. Using an iron or hair dryer to heat the film removes wrinkles and sagging while simultaneously bonding it. This adhesive does not become sticky when cooled to room temperature, making it easy to handle even after peeling off the backing sheet. For working with A-Film, we recommend using the electronically controlled VIP Iron Type-R (Part No. 47058) or VIP Iron Type-F (Part No. 47826), along with the HD Heat Gun (Part No. 47404).
Pre-treating the surface with NEW Film Bond (Part No. 48258 or 48259) before applying the film ensures a strong bond.
Additionally, if dirt or fuel makes the film adhesive less effective after application, use NEW Film Bond (Part No. 48258 or 48259).
