KATO N Gauge - Suburban Platform DX-23-153 - Model Railroad Accessories
Its high canopy, similar to existing suburban platforms, is a key visual feature. The canopy structure doubles as a beam for suspending overhead wires, based on a design commonly used at Shinkansen stations.
Combining it with new optional products allows for the reproduction of platform doors installed on the platform and the illumination of the platform interior. Ideal for recreating modern urban station platforms. Power rails for platform lighting are internally mounted, hidden from view. Connecting platforms using Uni-Joiner allows lighting integration and illumination even when multiple products are joined. Platform ends connect using S-Joiner specifications; conversion joiners are included with the platform product. Realistically recreate modern platforms with under-platform evacuation space, tactile paving, and various accessories. Each product has a platform section length of 248mm per piece, with platform ends measuring 200mm. The 23-160/161 Suburban Platform DX Island/Opposite Platform Sets both use longer platform ends. One set's total platform length is 896mm (200mm+248mm+248mm+200mm), accommodating a 6-car train formation. Includes stickers for platform signage and station name plates.
