KATO N Gauge Sound Card 0 Series Shinkansen 22-242-2
Introducing the sound card for the 0 Series Shinkansen, beloved by many as the first Shinkansen trains, the “Hikari” and “Kodama”.
Running sounds, air conditioning, compressor operation, and brake squeals are automatically played according to the situation. You can also enjoy station platform ambient sounds.
The onboard melodies/chimes reproduce the 0 Series sounds from the Shinkansen's opening until its retirement from the Tokaido Shinkansen. → Onboard Melodies: “Tetsudo Shoka” (Railway Song), “0 Series Shinkansen Onboard Melody”; Onboard Chimes: “Hikari Chime for Starting/Terminal Stations”, “For Intermediate Stations” are included.
Running sounds include noise from the main circuit under the floor during acceleration, body creaking, and the sound of passing welded rail joints during high-speed operation. Station departure bells, signal buzzers, and points switching sounds recreate authentic Shinkansen scenes. Sound-synchronized cards feature acceleration/deceleration matching running sounds, delivering a realistic driving experience.
In Controller Priority Mode, it functions similarly to Controller Synchronization type sound cards.
