10-1617 Taiwan High Speed Rail 700T 6-Car Extension Set\
The Taiwan High Speed Rail (commonly known as Taiwan High Speed Rail) launched Taiwan's first high-speed rail service in 2007, operating the 345km route between Taipei and Zuoying (Kaohsiung). \
While the tracks and infrastructure were developed with European Union assistance, the rolling stock is based on the 700 Series Shinkansen trains operating on Japan's Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. This marks the first overseas deployment of Japanese Shinkansen technology.\
Compared to the 700 Series, the 700T features a shorter nose and is distinguished by the prominent orange stripe extending from the front of the car body. Developed for Taiwan's climate and terrain, the 700T operates at a maximum speed of 300 km/h, connecting Nangang (Taipei) and Zuoying (Kaohsiung).\
