Enjoy operating your model railroad while realistically experiencing changes in running sounds based on operating conditions.
Pressing the six function buttons allows you to simulate operating the 300 Series Shinkansen “Nozomi,” including the whistle, door opening/closing, in-car announcement chime, plus the departure bell + buzzer.
The onboard chime includes the original “Nozomi” version used in actual service, plus the later “JR Central Onboard Chime (AMBITIOUS JAPAN.)”.
Realistically reproduces the GTO thyristor excitation sound generated during acceleration and deceleration.
In Sound Synchronization Mode, acceleration/deceleration follows the running sound, providing a driving experience akin to operating the actual train.
In Controller Priority Mode, the vehicle runs according to power pack operation, similar to controller-synchronized sound cards.
The “Sync Setting Save” function remembers the last sync mode when the sound box is powered off, maintaining the setting upon next startup.
Included in the package are “Function Labels” compatible with the sound box.
