We've brought back the iconic 500 Series trains from the heyday of the Marunouchi Line during the Tokyo Metro era at an affordable price. Faithfully recreating the form of the 500 Series from the late 1980s.
The nostalgic design is accurately reproduced: the red body that swept the nation, the contrasting white stripe, and the decorative sign curve.
For easy enjoyment, the set is divided into a 3-Car Basic Set and a 3-Car Extension Set. Bring this legendary subway train back to life in your collection.
The extension set includes a 300 Series train with dual cabs. Ideal for collections or display (※Headlights/tail lights do not light up; motor cars are not included).
The adoption of slotless motors achieves even smoother and quieter running performance.
The basic set's 705 and 664 feature illuminated headlights/tail lights and a front destination display showing “Ikebukuro”. An “Ogikubo” display is included for destination display exchange.
Body-mounted KATO close-coupling couplers are standard equipment on the intermediate couplings. This provides realistic coupling surfaces and smooth running performance. Features special packaging designed with an underground tunnel and the distinctive red car body. *Railroad models are powered by the track.
